Hi, thank you for reading my micro poems about desire, risks, and the attempts at being unforgettable.

I might
send a photo
I’ll regret tomorrow.

you asked
what I’m wearing —
I can’t describe
the nothing on.

I’m here
inventing our futures
— all of them reckless.

the thrill
was never between the sheets.
it was
the wait.

do only the breathtaking ones
get fantasized about?

what about
the rest of us?

do we get
even a glance?

can I say something —
anything —
that stays in your head?

even record players
break down

not you on a loop —
my necklace
caught in your head

to drive
you
crazy —

how I walked
the road
of my shoulder blade
with my slow fingers.

About The Article Author:

Hi, I’m Rachana. Its been my dream for years to do something to consciously create a better future where every one of us is excited about our own potential. My challenge to everyone is that they aspire for their personal best and leave a legacy of their work through their contributions to mankind.

One more thing. In December of 2044, I hope to win the Nobel.

Will you join me on this journey of growth and transformation?
Namasté.

You Don’t Die Once – A Poem by Rachana

I’ve written this from the perspective of a mid-lifer, about how we get infinite chances at reinventing ourselves only if we’re looking for those opportunities. My children play video games and they have this permadeath feature where you can “press reset” repeatedly....
