Falkland’s Law: On the Necessity of Not Deciding

 

Falkland Law states that “if you don’t have to make a decision about something, then don’t decide”. The idea is to encourage mindful decision-making and conserving mental energy for crucial matters. Essentially, if a choice is not mandatory, it is best to refrain from deciding.

This suggests a philosophy of avoiding premature or superfluous judgments in approaching situations where action is not strictly required.
