On the OUTSIDE, sorrow arrives like this:

 

  • Insulted by others
  • Enemy pretending to be a friend
  • Far away from your family
  • Your friends have abandoned you
  • Being ignored by others
  • You have no recognition inspite of having all qualities
  • No means of livelihood
  • Others who have received your kindness don’t acknowledge
  • Qualities remain unrecognized

 

On the INSIDE, sorrow arrives like this:

 

  • You don’t feel worthy of what you have
  • Your family doesn’t approve your life
  • Your family has an eye on your property
  • Unethical way of living
  • Your wife is cheating, or people are antagonistic
  • You depend on others for your survival
  • Seeing others who’re achieving more than you
  • You are not able to pacify other’s anger

ANGER
– Gita Shlokas 2.56: A sage remains undisturbed by anger, happiness, or distress.
– Gita Shlokas 2.62-63: Meditating on objects causes attachment → desire → anger → delusion → loss of memory → destruction.
– Gita Shlokas 5.26: Renouncing anger and desires leads to peace.

CONFUSION

FEELING SINFUL
