This poem is a raw, sensual, and unapologetically erotic poem that celebrates intense, prolonged physical and emotional intimacy between lovers. Stay here with these words, in these suspended, heated moments.
I could do this for hours.
What did you think I meant?
Gazing into your beady eyes.
Baby, no.
I can’t see the sky anymore.
Only this white ceiling patched with shadows
while the stars keep jealous score above us,
like spilled salt out of our reach.
The deeper I arch,
the longer you stay,
spine drawn taut like a bow
aimed at that one trembling place.
Oh please —
no one ever tells a flower in full bloom
to behave.
It’s natural for its petals to drink the sun shamelessly
and greedily from the raindrops.
Navel throbbing in an earthquake,
an epicenter pulsing fault lines,
forest fire climbing up my ears.
Most daydreamers are not good sleepers.
I will lie here
until kids walk to school past this window
and that lady next door starts fretting
over her patient hedges once again.
Tell me what you want,
so I can spend my days
thinking of doing those things to you.
I miss my older self,
when my nerves were constantly on fire.
Wish I were like those people
who never saw the ocean
and will never drown in its
currents and salt water that makes you spit.
Don’t forget to bring an extinguisher with you —
my nipples will scatter like star-dust
the moment you touch.
Make love to me as long as the sun rises —
again, and again,
until the dawn gives up on us.
I could do this for hours.
What did you think I meant?

About The Article Author:
Hi, I’m Rachana. Its been my dream for years to do something to consciously create a better future where every one of us is excited about our own potential. My challenge to everyone is that they aspire for their personal best and leave a legacy of their work through their contributions to mankind.
One more thing. In December of 2044, I hope to win the Nobel.
Will you join me on this journey of growth and transformation?
Namasté.
