Hi, thank you for reading my micro poems. Anima means soul in Latin. According to Carl Jung, it refers to the unconscious feminine archetype within a man: the inner image of woman that bridges the conscious ego and the deeper psyche, often manifesting as intense longing, erotic projection, inspiration, moodiness, and a magnetic pull toward life, eros, and union.

of all the things i can’t have,
your bite on my lips
is the one i miss.
it’s my recurring dream fever.

light and darkness collide within us.
i was going to lift my shirt,
show you my sun and moon —
but your thoughts orbit them anyway.

i hope you know
i’m crushing hard on you —
even if my mouth won’t tell you,
my pulse will.

my lips on my coffee cup,
my eyes traveling all over you,
my body folds itself in a tight hug,
my mind loses its way.

i reckon death is kinder than this longing
caught in your inescapable gravity
don’t put out the spark
let’s combust into another galaxy

even at the desk
at the stove
i imagine us spooning —
so hard, so reckless
obliterating us entirely.
even apart
i sweat in surrender.

from one degenerate
to another, come
light this match.
let’s set these sheets on fire
or tell me to stop
before the blaze eats your world.

Thanks again for stopping by. If one line stays with you, I’d love to know what it was. Comment or DM me.

Will you join me on this journey of growth and transformation?
Namasté.

In a locked hotel room, two people are orbiting each other in loaded silence. There is desire, there is restraint, and there is the tyranny of civility. They choose not to act, and that becomes the bruise that lingers the longest. Thank you for reading.     ...
