విజేత దృక్పథం – Winner’s Mindset: Keep Going, Trust Yourself & Never Give Up (తెలుగు)

A few years ago, when I was in the middle of a tough entrepreneurial journey, my mother, Anuradha Nadella wrote this to me one day.

It keeps my head above waters whenever I read it.

చిన్నీ,

ఆరు నెలలుగా నీతో ప్రయాణం చేస్తున్నాను. నీ ఆలోచనలు, ఆందోళనలూ అర్థం చేసుకోగలను.

నిజమే, ఎక్కడికి వెళ్లాలో తెలుసు, ఎంత దూరమో ఊహకు అందుతుంది. కానీ ఎలా వెళ్లాలో, ఏ మార్గం మనల్ని గమ్యానికి చేరుస్తుందో మాత్రం తెలియదు. తెలిస్తే జీవితపు నషా ఏముంది?

దారి పొడవునా పువ్వులూ, ముళ్లూ, లోయలూ, కొండలూ, రాళ్లూ, మైదానాలూ, నదులూ అన్నీ ఎదురవుతుంటాయి. నీ అలసట తీర్చుకోవడానికి ఆగినప్పుడల్లా వాటి కథలు వింటూ ఉండు. వాటి విజయగాథలూ, ఓటమి గాథలూ కూడా విను. నీకు కావలసినదేమిటో మరింత బలంగా తెలుసుకుంటూ సాగిపో. విజయగాథలతో పాటు ఓటమి గాథలూ అవసరమే, ఎందుకంటే ఏవి, ఎక్కడ, ఎలా పనిచేశాయో తెలుస్తుంది.

ఎంత పెద్ద శిఖరాన్నైనా ఒక్కో మెట్టూ ఎక్కుతూ మాత్రమే చేరుకోగలం. ఒకటి తర్వాత ఒకటిగా ఎక్కుతూ వెళ్లడమే. ఒకేసారి శిఖరాన్ని చూసి గందరగోళపడాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. ఒక్కో అడుగు వేస్తూ, తర్వాతి అడుగు వైపు చూసుకుంటూ జాగ్రత్తగా నడవాలి.

ఒక ఇల్లు కట్టేందుకు ముందుగా భూమిని చదును చేస్తాం. పునాదులు తీస్తాం. ఆ తర్వాత కట్టడం మొదలవుతుంది. నువ్వు ఆ మొదటి రెండు పనులూ చేసి, నిర్మాణానికి సిద్ధంగా ఉన్నావు. ఇప్పుడు జాగ్రత్తగా ఇటుక తర్వాత ఇటుక పేర్చి, వాటి మధ్య సిమెంటు పూయాలి. నీపై నీకున్న నమ్మకమే సిమెంటు. అది ఎంత నాణ్యమైనదైతే, అంత గట్టిగా భవనం నిలబడుతుంది.

ఇక ఈ దశలో నీకు ఎలాంటి అనుమానాలూ ఉండకూడదు. ఇప్పటికే నీటిలోకి దూకావు. ఇప్పుడు ఈదాలి. జాగ్రత్తగా ముందుకు సాగాలి. జీవితం ఎన్నో ఆలోచనల్నీ, ఆశల్నీ రగిలిస్తుంది. నడువు. నీ దారి ఏదో నిర్ణయించుకో.

ఇప్పుడు నీ వెనక ఏమీ లేదు. నువ్వు ఏదైనా సాధించగలిగితే, నీ ముందు ఒక కొత్త ప్రపంచం సాక్షాత్కరిస్తుంది. సాధించలేకపోతే పోయేది ఏమీ లేదు. అంతే కదా. కానీ సాధించేందుకు నువ్వు ఏ ఒక్క అవకాశాన్నీ వదులుకోలేదు. నీ శ్రమే నీ పెట్టుబడి! అదే నిన్ను నడిపిస్తుంది.

శ్రమ వృథా ఎప్పటికీ కాదు. ప్రయత్నం వదలకు.

ఒక కట్టెలు కొట్టేవాడు పెద్ద దుంగను గొడ్డలితో కొడుతున్నాడు. చాలా శ్రమ పడుతున్నాడు. ఒకరోజు ఉదయం నుంచీ ఆ దుంగను ముక్కలు ముక్కలుగా చీల్చేందుకు కొడుతూనే ఉన్నాడు. రోజంతా ఆ పనిని ఏకాగ్రతతో చేస్తూనే ఉన్నాడు. సాయంత్రం అయింది. అప్పటికి అతను వేసిన దెబ్బలతో ఆ దుంగ ముక్కలు ముక్కలుగా విడిపోయింది.

ఆ ఆఖరి గొడ్డలి దెబ్బ మాత్రమే ఆ దుంగను ముక్కలు చేసిందని చెప్పగలమా?

లేదు.

మొదటి దెబ్బ ఎంత విలువైనదో, ఆఖరి దెబ్బ కూడా అంతే విలువైనది. ఆ మొదటి దెబ్బలు పడకపోతే దుంగ ముక్కలయ్యేదా?

జీవితం మనకోసం ఏమి దాచి ఉంచిందో వెతుక్కోవాల్సిందే.

I have been traveling alongside you for six months now. I can understand your thoughts and your worries.

It is true that we know where we want to go, and we can imagine how far away the destination might be. But we do not know how we will get there, or which path will ultimately lead us to our destination. If we knew all of that in advance, what would be the thrill of life?

Along the way, we will encounter flowers and thorns, valleys and mountains, rocks and plains, rivers and so much more. Whenever you stop to rest and catch your breath, listen to their stories. Listen to their stories of triumph, but also to their stories of failure. Keep moving forward with an ever-deepening understanding of what it is that you truly want. Stories of failure are just as necessary as stories of success, because they teach us what worked, where it worked, and how it worked—and what did not.

No matter how high the peak, we can reach it only by climbing one step at a time. One step after another. There is no need to look at the entire mountain and become overwhelmed. Take one step, then focus on the next. Walk carefully and steadily.

When we build a house, we first level the land. Then we lay the foundation. Only after that do we begin construction. You have already done those first two things and are ready to build. Now, lay each brick carefully, one after another, and spread the cement between them. Your faith in yourself is the cement. The stronger and better the cement, the stronger the building will be.

At this stage, you should not have any doubts about yourself. You have already jumped into the water. Now you have to swim. Move forward carefully. Life will stir up countless thoughts and hopes within you. Keep moving. Decide which path is yours, and walk it.

There is nothing behind you now. If you succeed in achieving what you set out to do, an entirely new world will open up before you. If you do not, you have lost nothing. That’s all there is to it, isn’t it? But you have left no stone unturned in trying to succeed. Your hard work is your investment. That is what will keep you moving forward.

Hard work is never wasted. Never give up trying.

A woodcutter was chopping away at a large log with an axe. He was working incredibly hard. From early morning, he kept striking the log, trying to split it into pieces. He worked at it with complete concentration throughout the day. Evening came, and by then, the log had finally broken into pieces from all the blows he had delivered.

Can we say that it was only the final blow of the axe that split the log?

No.

The very first blow was just as valuable as the last. If all those first blows had never landed, would the log have broken apart?

We have to keep searching for what life has hidden away for us.
