What’s A Text / Tech Neck? 

 

Wikipedia identifies the most painful physical side effect of mobile use. Text neck is the term used to describe the neck pain and damage sustained from looking down at your cell phone, tablet, or other wireless devices too frequently.

At 60 degree of inclination, the spine has to bear a weight of approximately 27kg. It is equivalent to carrying a 8 year old around the neck.

This causes muscles, ligaments and tendons to bear unnecessary pressure resulting in neck pain. This can further affects the joints and disc.

Main symptoms of text neck are:

Stiff neck
muscular weakness
Spinal disc compression….
