A Harmful Rhetoric

Pictures of the attack on the Capitol building on the 6th of January have left many of us in disbelief, disgust and horror. A couple of men were wearing shirts sporting the words, “6MWE” which stands for 6 Million (Jews) Wasn’t Enough and “Camp Auschwitz”. These words are clearly hateful and anti-Semitic.

These people deserve to be punished and federally prosecuted for their harmful rhetoric and actions.

But, how can we begin the process of rehabilitating their minds? Victor Frankl, the father of Logotherapy and a holocaust survivor, might have something to say. “The salvation of man is through love and in love.”
