Brothers In Love. A Connection To The Heart.
It was love at first sight in the hospital. His little brother was in my arms waiting for his first reaction.
It was plain and clear, that of love. And now at home,
He hovers around his bassinet wary of all the visitors who pay a visit to see what he calls “my baby”.
You’ve have to see that proud look on his face after he rushes home from school eager to see his baby brother.
He puts all of us, the big kids in the house, to shame when he advises us of baby’s milk time, play time and sleepy time.
Turns out he has only one complaint. Baby brother doesn’t play with him or “his” toys. Do I tell him to watch what he wishes for?

NOTE: This is my first post here and it is a poem about the love between a 4 year old and his new born brother. – Rachana, proud mommy
